Zozo Chat

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zozo Chat, formerly known as Zodiac, at chat.zozo.sh and its legacy address during the transition (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Zozo AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Zozo," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service after being presented with these Terms, you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

1. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are not legally old enough to enter into these Terms yourself, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts them on your behalf. You must also satisfy any additional eligibility requirements of a third-party service you choose to use.

Provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not sell accounts, share paid access without permission, or create accounts to evade limits or a suspension.

Your Zozo account may also identify you in other Zozo services. These Terms cover Zozo Chat; additional products may have their own terms. A shared account does not automatically include a paid entitlement to every Zozo product.

2. Using AI and third-party services

Zozo Chat provides creative chat, roleplay, persona, and image tools using third-party AI models. Models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive, or unexpected results. AI personas are fictional interactions, not real people or professional advisers. Review outputs before relying on them or sharing them. Do not use them as a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

To generate a response, relevant prompts, conversation context, persona instructions, and attachments are processed by the services involved in the request. Model routing may include supporting models for tasks such as titles, summaries, or suggestions, or a fallback when a model is unavailable or a request fails. Features and provider availability can vary.

If you supply your own API key, you authorize the app to use it for the provider requests you initiate, including validation. You are responsible for the key, your provider account, any provider charges, and compliance with the applicable provider terms. Provider charges are separate from payments to Zozo. Models, LoRAs, and other third-party materials may carry additional license or usage restrictions.

3. Your content and our intellectual property

You retain your rights in the prompts, files, images, personas, and other material you provide ("Input"). You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that material and allow us to process it. Do not submit another person's confidential or personal information without an appropriate lawful basis or permission.

As between you and Zozo, and to the extent permitted by law and applicable third-party terms, you retain any rights you have in the results generated for you ("Output"). Zozo does not claim ownership of your Input or Output. AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection, may resemble material generated for other users, and may affect third-party rights. We do not guarantee exclusive rights or that an Output can be used for every purpose.

You grant Zozo a limited, non-exclusive license to process, transmit, store, and display your Input and Output as needed to provide the features you request, operate and secure the Service, and address support or legal obligations. This is not an assignment of ownership. We do not use your chats or images to train our own AI models.

Using Cloud Sync does not publish your chats or personas. If you choose to publish material through a marketplace or share an exported file, others may access and copy it. Separate sharing or marketplace terms may apply.

Zozo AI, Inc. owns or licenses the Service's software, branding, and other materials. Rights in third-party materials remain with their respective owners. The open-source portions of the application remain subject to their applicable licenses, including GPL-3.0 where indicated in the source repository. These Terms do not reduce rights granted by an open-source license or grant rights to use Zozo's names or logos to imply affiliation.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

These restrictions apply to creative and roleplay uses as well. A model's ability to produce a response does not mean the response is permitted under these Terms.

5. Subscriptions, credits, and payments

Paid features are offered at the prices, billing intervals, and allowances shown when you purchase. Review the checkout details, including any applicable taxes and promotional terms. Stripe processes payments; Zozo does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. You authorize the charges to which you agree at checkout.

Automatic renewal. A recurring subscription renews at its stated interval until canceled. Cancel before the next renewal through Profile → Subscription → Manage Subscription. If you cannot access that control, contact support@chat.zozo.sh. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period, with access continuing until then. Signing out, clearing browser data, or stopping use does not cancel billing.

Plan changes. The billing portal shows when a change takes effect and any immediate charge or proration before you confirm it. An upgrade may incur an immediate prorated charge. A downgrade or interval change may be scheduled for a later date. The specific terms shown for your change apply.

Allowances and credits. Subscription allowances refresh on their stated allowance schedule, which can differ from the billing interval for an annual plan. Unused periodic allowances do not roll over unless an offer expressly says otherwise. Purchased image credits are accounted for separately from subscription allowances. Credits provide access to features; they are not money, transferable payment instruments, or redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Refunds. Fees are non-refundable except where applicable law requires a refund or a specific offer or agreement provides otherwise. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other remedies.

Price and allowance changes. We will provide reasonable advance notice of price changes. Plan-wide allowance changes apply to a later allowance period rather than reducing a grant already made for the current period; changes you request and changes to your subscription status follow their applicable terms. Specific commitments made in an offer remain subject to that offer. If you do not accept a future price, cancel before it takes effect.

Failed payments. Stripe may retry an unsuccessful payment. Access may be restricted or ended if payment remains unresolved. A temporary period of access during recovery does not forgive an outstanding charge.

6. Storage, Cloud Sync, and takeout

Without Cloud Sync, chats, personas, and many preferences are stored in your browser. Clearing site data, losing the device, or changing browser or domain can make that copy unavailable. Local storage does not mean AI generation happens on your device: content needed for a request is still transmitted for processing.

Optional Cloud Sync encrypts supported data on your device using a separate encryption password. Keep that password safe; we cannot recover it or decrypt the stored content for you. Account login, profile details, billing information, and operational metadata are separate from this encrypted content. The Privacy Policy explains these boundaries.

Cloud Sync requires an eligible plan. When an eligible subscription ends, the current expiry flow provides a seven-day final-download window measured from the recorded subscription period end. After that window, the cloud copy is eligible for deletion. Export what you need before access ends; Cloud Sync is not permanent archival storage.

Use Settings → Data Management to export a takeout file or import supported files. Choose the categories you need and review the result for omissions or errors. Takeout files contain readable data, including any API keys you expressly select. Store and share them carefully. Imports may create copies or overwrite selected records according to the choices shown in the importer.

The move from Zodiac's old domain to Zozo Chat does not automatically move browser-local data or login sessions. Users with local data can export and import it; Cloud Sync users can sign into the same account and unlock their cloud data on the new domain. The transition does not itself delete the old browser's data. Keep your own backup of important material.

7. Service changes, suspension, and closure

We may maintain or modify features and model availability. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a violation of these Terms, security risks, fraud, provider requirements, nonpayment, or legal obligations. Where practical, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact us. Mandatory consumer rights and specific paid-offer commitments continue to apply.

You can stop using the Service at any time. To close your account or request deletion of server-held personal information, contact support@chat.zozo.sh. Export the data you need and cancel any recurring subscription separately. Deleting local chats, wiping Cloud Sync, closing a shared Zozo account, and canceling a subscription are different actions; we will clarify the scope of an account-closure request before acting on it.

8. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the Service and AI Output are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, that every error will be corrected, or that Output is accurate, fit for a particular purpose, or free of third-party claims. You are responsible for reviewing Output and for your decisions about its use.

To the extent permitted by law, Zozo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business opportunities, arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer protections.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. We will provide a prominent in-app banner or dialog describing material changes and their effective date, with reasonable advance notice where required. Continuing to use the Service after that date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. If a change requires express agreement, we will obtain it. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any recurring subscription before the change takes effect.

10. General terms

Delaware law governs these Terms except where applicable law requires otherwise. Consumers keep the mandatory protections and rights to bring claims in their home jurisdiction that apply to them. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive participation in a class action.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Our decision not to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it. We may transfer these Terms as part of a genuine corporate reorganization or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable notice requirements and your existing rights. No transfer permits us to disregard our privacy commitments.
